Show up and see if there's space is your best bet.Īlso worth looking into what your Priority Pass club options are. My experience is that the increase in travel means that lounges are pretty much always crowded.Īside from having whichever AA credit card / all the miles / etc, is it possible to pre-order or whatever, a day pass, or for peasants like us, is it always a "show up and see if there's space / see if they're selling them at all the day of" type situation? Depends on how many people are in that day. How much more quiet / nicer is it actually than the main part of the airport? The answer to this ranges from 0 to 100%. How likely is it that would even be possible? I've seen a few posts here that seem to indicate day passes might be hard to come by. The idea of hanging out for 7 hours in an airport terminal after an overseas flight just sounds awful. We'll get there in the early afternoon, and our final leg home doesn't leave until like 9:30, so we'll be in the Miami airport for something like 7 hours. My wife, our teenager, and I will have a lengthy layover in Miami later this month at the end of a vacation trip.
